Growing up in a family of restaurant owners you could say I was born into the hospitality industry. Family gatherings consisted of all the Uncles and Aunties competing for the best dish of the day and with close to 50 family members there was no shortage of variety.
I started cooking at a young age, entertaining my mum and her friends when I was 12 years old, from there, I knew that food was something that had the ability to bring people together and create joy. I decided to become a chef at 15 and grew my talents in South Australia’s fine dine and silver service restaurants and I’ve always had an admiration for food and a passion to create.
I received my first camera when I was 8 and fell in love with photography and as my cooking career grew I knew I would integrate these two passions. Photography has been a constant in my life. I have been published in Winestate Magazine, publicity photos for Maggie Beers, Regency Park Apprentice Chef award ceremonies featuring TV presenter Melody Horrill. Promotional photography for Pam Tobin at Mushrooms Australia and an exhibition at Fox Creek Wines to give a brief outline of my work
My vast experience in these two specialized careers allows me the advantage to work closely with chefs, food producers, restaurant and business owners.
